Peugeot 404 - A Cabriolet in Australia

Gordon Miller writes : 

"Still plenty of 404s in Australia. They were assembled here and sold well. Have a 1967 sedan, one of the last C3 gearboxes. This was my father-in-law's car and the first Peugeot that I drove. Also have a 1966 404 cabriolet. This came from the USA. Very tired but complete. Its restoration took 4 years. It has been changed from LHD to RHD."

If anyone out there wanting to change a 404 cabriolet from LHD to RHD, Gordon has a mould for the dash board padding (top and bottom)

Also he recommend you looked at www.pccv.org the web site of the Peugeot Car Club of Victoria?  This club is based in Melbourne Australia and has over 600 members
