Following flooding last month (April 2001), I now have a wet Peugeot
404, that needs some restoring. These pages will record the ongoing
saga.

Lessons learned from the flooding :
1- Don't leave a car where the water level can go up to the windowsills
2- Don't raise a car onto wet cinder block (Note : almost killed
myself and/or a friend, Denis)
3- Don't raise a rear-wheel drive by the rear on a slanted surface
as the front wheels are freely rotating (see note on 2 above)
4- Having raised the car 50 cm slowly, side by side, bit by bit,
don't suddenly go for another 25 cm (see note on 2 above)
