Started to take off the left door. Here is the retention unit with its pin. Once removed the screw holding the door are accessible

Door off. Can now attack chrome and glass.

Removed the left signal light which wasn't connected ! This is a single wire lamp the body being the ground (good for rust!) 

Little discovery the steering column assembly is kept together with tie-ons; smart but ugly.

Nice rust check in the base of the left side.

Missing screw in the base of the window.

The only screw on the outside chrome is in a sad shape wasn't screwed in ; the others are gone.
