Well, still at it after another really long pause (and my latest
daughter...). I have gotten the exhaust manifold off of the engine,
tried a torch, chisel, brute force, you name it ! The actual solution
was
Here is the solution that worked to get the manifold off. I had
to cut a key to be able to reach in the tight area.
So now things should... move along right ? Here is the left motor
mount base. Accessible & easy. The two outer bolts have stop nuts
(see below, next picture).
The stop nuts, notice that they are concave (flat part goes against
the base).
The right motor mount base. Also accessible & easy. Two bolts
screw into the motor bsae where the engine number has been struck
(4573923). Had to stop here, as it's bedtime for the girls...
